50 ways to celebrate Super Bowl 50

Spend the biggest game of the year your way. And with 50 options, from the cheapest beers to unlimited food and a live halftime show, it’ll be the best ever.

1. Your team didn’t make the Super Bowl? Pick a side, this is war. The official bar for Carolina Panthers fans is Amity Hall (80 W. Third St.), where five-bottle buckets and pitchers of select beers (usually Bud Light, Goose Island and Amity Wheat) are during the game $20.

2. If another city had to make the playoffs, it may as well have been the best one outside of NYC. Denver Broncos fans go to Butterfield 8(5 E. 38th St.), the rare gastropub that deserves the name. On game day, get unlimited wings and beer for $45.

3. For sheer number of screens, you can’t beat the 116 TVs at200 Fifth(200 Fifth Ave., Park Slope). For the Super Bowl, there will be a special NFL-themed menu.

4. If you’re less into the game than the atmosphere, Clinton Hall (90 Washington St.) has oversized games like giant Jenga, giant chess and a beer pong table on its patio. The beer hall’s menu was just overhauled, creating an all-burger feast of 20 varieties, and they’re bringing in beers from both teams’ hometowns.

5. Chef Danny Bowien’s quest to feed the city good food at better prices at Mission Cantina (172 Orchard St.) continues with a ridiculous Super Bowl deal: an all-night-long, all-you-can-eat buffet of wings, burritos, Chinese food, nachos and some new items, all for $33.

6. Newly openedInwood Bar and Grill(4892 Broadway) is not letting the cold stop it from a game day tradition: outdoor grilling. Chef Davo Lazala will be turning out made-to-order ribs, burgers, hot dogs and corn on the cob on two barbecue grills beginning at 2 p.m. For the game, make your way inside to watch it on 30 TVs and a projector screen, with a Corona open bar from 5-6 p.m.

7. Low-key sports barCroxley’s Ale House(63 Grand St., Williamsburg) will be serving 20-cent boneless wings and 30-cent regular wings for the entire game. The TVs are high up and spaced all around the room, so reserve a seat you can actually use and still catch the action. Cover is $10.

8. If you don’t want to stand on tiptoes to see the screen and would rather not be in vomit range of overpartiers,Nitehawk Cinema(136 Metropolitan Ave., Williamsburg) will be playing the game in a theater with seat-side service. The $30 entry fee is actually a voucher for food (they’ve got their own house recipe hot wings) and drinks (including the teams’ hometown beers).

9. Tables at the40/40 Club(6 W. 25th St.) are available for even-numbered parties at $200 per person, which either comes with a set menu and bottle service or can be put toward a bar/food tab in the same amount. The game will be screened on over 30 screens, including six 165-inch video walls.

10. Upper East Side beer hallTreadwell Park(1125 First Ave.) has 12 TVs and party favors for both sides of the rivalry. From 4-11p.m., you can get in for free orlock down a table, which comes with casks of Kelso beer and food like wings and sliders.

16.Jake’s Handcrafted(559 Fifth Ave., Brooklyn) takes game day appetizers—Buffalo wings, lamb satay, etc.—and turns them into sausages. They’re also delivering easily the best deal for the game: $100 for a package that feeds 10-12 people with two pounds of sausage, a pound of Carolina-style pulled pork with “mop sauce,” 2 pounds of Denver dip (like queso with duck chili and pickled jalapenos), plus potato salad, coleslaw, baguettes, housemade tortilla chips and all of their mustards. Orders can be placed until 11 p.m. on Feb. 4.

17. Rent your own party space by reserving the Duplex Presidential Suite atGansevoort Meatpacking, with 1,700 square feet of party space, three Jacuzzi tubs, a fireplace, large balcony and two bedrooms to spend the night. The private party for eight comes with platters and buckets of beer and wine. The package costs $6,140.80.

18.Landmarcat the Time Warner Center is being taken over by chef Marc Murphy’s more casual restaurantDitch Plainsfrom 4-10 p.m. with cocktails like the Montauk Mule (Stoli vodka, rhurbab, ginger beer) and bar bites including the Ditch Dog (topped with mac & cheese), and, of course, wings in Buffalo or sambal sauce. The game will be playing on two projector screens. Reserve on OpenTable using the code SUPERBOWL.

19.Bar Nine(807 Ninth Ave., Hell’s Kitchen) is usually a concert venue with a bar, but for the Super Bowl they’re putting a large projection screen center state (in addition to its 10 TVs) and specials like 50-cent wings, $2 Bud Light drafts and $5 Hennessy shots.

21.Haven Rooftop(132 W. 47th St.) has transformed into a ski chalet for the winter, so cozy up for a $30 cover that includes two drinks and food specials, or get open bar for the whole game for $100 and passed appetizers during the first half.

22. It doesn’t get more like being back in college on game day thansideBAR(118 E. 15th St.). Its viewing party starts at 5:30 p.m., with arguably the most interesting tie-in — the sponsor is Broadway’s “Chicago,” which will be raffling off tickets to the show that currently features former Tennessee Titan Eddie George in its cast. At the bar, Bud Light pitchers are $14, or $30 domestic/$35 imported. Reservations encouraged.

23. The construction in Times Square is at an all-time tolerable level, so get toVirgil’s Real Barbecue(152 W. 44th St.) for $4 pints and $12 pitchers of Bud Light, and half-price appetizers.

24.Alidorois usually closed on Sundays, but they’ll be working double time to fill catering orders for their genre-defining Italian sandwiches through Feb. 5, with platters available that feed up to 20 people.

25. Being at the game is the dream, but The Standard Biergarten (848 Washington St.) is doing its part to bring a bit of the stadium atmosphere to the Meatpacking District, with two 90-inch TVs, games, prizes and T-shirt guns at the quarter and halftime breaks. The party starts at 5:30 p.m., and in addition to the usual German fare, there will be tater tots, wings, sliders and spicy pickles. If you grab a table (for eight), there’s a $500 minimum tab.

26. Sports loungeSlate(54 W. 21st St.) went the bigger-is-better route, setting up a 9-foot megatron alongside the 40 TVs spread across its two floors. Show your team pride by ordering one of their Broncos- or Panthers-inspired cocktails; chef Darryl Harmon also created themed dishes, the Denver lamb ribs and Carolina pulled pork sliders. Giants linebacker Jonathan Casillas will host, and a DJ will keep the energy up during commercial breaks.

27. New East Village spotDavid’s Cafe(110 St. Mark’s Place) does American food the French way, and for the Super Bowl they’re setting aside our countries’ differences about what exactly “football” means and hauling out the big screen and specials like the Buffalo Chicken Poutine, slathered in mozzarella chicken gravy.

28. Mexican cantinaCampeon(9 E. 16th Street) is swapping its margaritas for 75-ounce beer towers during the game, which will be on all 50 80-inch TVs.

29.Bowery Meat Company(9 E. First St., East Village) is setting aside its usual upscale steakhouse vibe and putting up TVs throughout the restaurant. The special game-day menu includes Buffalo Lollipops, beer-braised bratwurst, prime rib tacos and buckets of Porkslap, Pabst and Brooklyn Lager.

30.Dewey’s Pub(135 W. 30th St., Herald Square) won’t let your mouth get bored while you watch the game, with 24 beers on tap and specials like bourbon barbecue wings and short rib chili. If you want to go all in, it’s $40 for a limited beer/wine open bar and all the chicken wings you can put away.

31. The Game Time Party Box fromDos Caminoswill serve 10 people for $175, and includes the restaurant’s Prickly Pear Margarita Mix — just add tequila! The platter’s stars are the Cholula hot wings, with other game-day staples like smoked chicken nachos, guac and chips, barbecue pork sliders and cookies.

32.Village Pourhouse(64 Third Ave., East Village) is always packed on game day. This Sunday, $100 will score you access to a premium open bar from kickoff until the clock runs down.

33. Cookie shopSchmackary’sknows the power of baked goods — and who knows, maybe a few sprinkles can tip the karmic scales. Through Sunday, they’re selling Panthers cookies with black and blue funfetti and Broncos cookies with white and orange funfetti ($2.75 each, $24 dozen).

34. Neighborhood spote’s Bar(511 Amsterdam Ave., Upper West Side) has a burger and beer combo for $10, well drinks and Shiner Bock drafts for $6 and beer-shot combo $8. No reservation needed, so get there a bit before kickoff for a chance at seating.

35.Tender Bar & Grill(130 W. 47th St.) is a bit more upscale than you’re used to in football bars. There are plenty of TVs (nine 55-inch screens and two 80-inch projector screens) and the $30 cover includes two beers and food specials, or for $50 you get guaranteed seating, one appetizer and a choice of pitcher.

36. This is worth staying home for: Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele will be doing live commentary of the Super Bowl, courtesy of Squarespace. Except that’s illegal, so they can’t say Super Bowl, or any of the teams’ or players’ names. But that’s not what’s important anyway! The live simulcast starts half an hour before kickoff.

37.Ditch Plains(29 Bedford St., West Village) will be keeping warm in their beach-themed party with the game playing on five TVs, local brews on tap and tons of finger food like jalapeno-cheddar tater tots, fried pickles and crab dip with tortilla chips.

39.Bounce Sporting Club(55 W. 21st St., Flatiron) holds Sunday Funday every week, but this weekend is going to be Super, with sets by DJ Sinatra, Mel DeBarge and B. Mills during the commercial breaks and their usual game day bites like fried mac & cheese, pigs in a blanket and buffalo wings.

40. If “Star Wars” was just the beginning of a new flavor creation wave over atAmple Hills, then we might actually start paying attention to food holidays. For the Super Bowl, pick up pints of Rocky Mountain High (Nitro Milk Stout-spiked chocolate ice cream, mini marshmallows, peanut-stuffed brownies) and Jes’ Pie, a take on chess pie made with a chocolate custard pie folded into vanilla ice cream. The flavors are available at Ample Hills’ Prospect Heights, Gowanus and Gotham West Market stores.

41. Galway Pub got an industrial makeover and is now 5th & Mad (7 E. 36th St.), where 18 TVs and two large projector screens will keep you in the action. Specials include Bud Light beer buckets ($18/6 beers). Tip: The lamb meatballs are the winner on the menu.

42.Momofuku is offering the kind of game day spread that people will be talking about well after the winner is forgotten: a whole roasted pig’s head ($75, serves four) with steamed buns, Ssam sauce and condiments. 43. At The Gander (15 W. 18th St.), chef Jesse Schenker is taking the math out of the game with a $65 all-you-can-eat and drink deal. Beer and punch bowls will be sloshing, while wings, sliders, ribs and mac&cheese will keep you upright until the end of the game. The fun begins at 4 p.m., so take note prepartiers.

44. All this week atSweet Chick, both locations will be serving a chicken and waffle special themed to the teams. For Broncos fans, there’s green-chili smothered fried chicken on a lamb bacon waffle; for the Panthers, it’s of course North Carolina-style barbecue chicken over a peach waffle.

45. Come dressed in your favorite team’s jersey to American Whiskey (247 W. 30th St.) and score a free glass of prosecco every time they score. Between victory rounds, get $7 pours of whiskey from the teams’ home states, $24 buckets of Oskar Blues cans or $18 for Bud Light and two-for-one bottles of prosecco and smoky chicken wings.

47.Bar Hugo (525 Greenwich St.) is going unlimited for the game, with free-flowing beer from kickoff and a halftime buffet of tailgating food like chili, hot dogs and wings, but also something your body wouldn’t expect to see on a Super Bowl day: salads. Party goes until 11 p.m.; individual tickets are $80, or tables start at $199 for two.

48. For a larger than life game experience, the Four Seasons Hotel’s TY Bar boasts the city’s largest high-definition television at 12 feet by 12 feet. The Super Sunday viewing party will have a limited Versus Menu with dishes like pork sliders and hush puppies with green goddess dip for the Southerners, while Denver fans get bison cheeseburgers and spiced Colorado lamb skewers.

49. For groups of 10 or more, Tres Carnes will deliver a whole roasted pig ($7 per pound) wrapped in a football-themed blanket, “supersized” bowls of brisket ($49), or a taco bar ($16 per person).

50.House of Yes (2 Wyckoff Ave., Brooklyn) may be totally new to this Super Bowl thing, but they’re ready to party until “someone wins and the Gatorade thing happens.” On the day, $5 gets you in for hot wings and other football snacks, a full bar, and the best part: a real live halftime show with actual cheerleaders (or just people in cheerleader uniforms).
