$1 ice cream waffles on opening day of Wowfulls’ first store

You won’t have to run between food markets and music festivals for Hong Kong-style waffle ice cream cones anymore.

On March 31, Smorgasburg sensation Wowfulls is opening its first shop at 309 Houston St., serving its specialty waffles in original, chocolate and matcha flavors filled with ice cream and as many toppings as you can balance, from fresh fruit to candy jellies, Pocky sticks and rainbow sprinkles.

Be one of the first 50 people through the door on opening day, and your Wowfulls waffle cone is just $1. For the rest of the weekend, they’re just $5 (normally $8).
