Boston Christmas tree lighting events: Macy’s Downtown Boston Tree Lighting Ceremony
Head Downtown this weekend to celebrate the holiday season with Macy’s. The famed department store’s annual tree lighting ceremony returns on Black Friday with family-friendly activities, plus performances by the Boston Children’s Choir, Grammy-nominated singer Keri Hilson, indie rockers Heffron Drive and R&B artist Jaye Valentine. Mayor Marty Walsh and Santa Claus will also be on hand.

Boston Christmas tree lighting events: Copley Square Tree Lighting
The holiday fun returns to Copley Square on Monday night. The annual tree lighting ceremony returns with light refreshments, plus musical performances by Mark Robertson, Boston Children’s Chorus, the Boston Pops Brass Quintet and Berklee College of Music’s Natalie Daniela Castro Diaz. Mayor Marty Walsh, NECN’s Jenny Johnson and the one and only Santa Claus will be there too.

Boston Christmas tree lighting events: Faneuil Hall Holiday Spectacular
The annual Blink! festivities kick off on Tuesday with the holiday show at Faneuil Hall. In addition to the tree lighting, the event will include appearances by Santa Claus, the Boston Community Choir and more. And if you can’t make it to the event, WBZ will broadcast the festivities live at 7:30 p.m.

Boston Christmas tree lighting events: Boston Common Tree Lighting
While the giant tree from our friends in Nova Scotia has already arrived, the annual tree lighting ceremony won’t take place until Thursday, Nov. 29. The festivities will include professional skaters taking the ice on the Frog Pond as well as an appearance by Mayor Marty Walsh.

Boston Christmas tree lighting events: Light Up Seaport
Back for its third year, the Seaport will close out November with a special tree lighting ceremony. The event will feature live music, treats from area restaurants, plus giveaways.
