An Ohio woman recently celebrated her 86thbirthday by meeting her 86thinfant great-granddaughter — try to top that level of cuteness.
Marie Frey met newborn Blakely Grace Frey on June 23, just days before she turnedthe big 86.
“It’s pretty good that she got to see her,” Frey’s grandson Kenny Frey told Fox 8. “Family and faith are her two biggest favorites. She’s a very strong woman.” Coming from a family with seven children, Frey says she’s always wanted a big household but didn’t think she’d get past 12 kids, theHuffington Post reported. She married her late husband Gerald in 1949 and had 15 children with him, all of who followed suit and had large families of their own. The 86-year-old is expecting two more great-grandchildren, bringing her grand total to 88. The 87thgreat-grandchild will make Rosanne Goodrich, 49, a grandmother to seven.
Goodrich told Inside Edition that her mother Marie welcomes up to 200 guests to her farm every year for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter parties — that’s a lot of mouths to feed.
As big as the family is right now—and counting—Goodrich said that everyone gets along and knows each other by name.
“We all live within the same area. No matter where we go, we pass someone related to us,” Goodrich told Inside Edition. “I got into a bad car accident once, and it was my cousin that hit me.” This large family might have 99 problems, but great-grandchildren ain’t one of them.
