The 1990s were defined by a lot of things: The rise of the Internet, Titanic and Clueless, plastic chokers, Britney Spears and Xtina, Tamagotchi and Bop It, flare jeans and mood rings. And, ’90s kids everywhere grew up on Nickelodeon shows like Rugrats.
The animated series featured Tommy Pickles and his best friend Chuckie (who has a chronic case of allergies), boss-lady-in-training cousin Angelica and twins Phil and Lil. The franchise taught us that adventure is fun and imagination makes for a magnificent playground.
This week, Delish writer Madison Flager reported on the groundbreaking discovery of Rugrats shot glasses.
It’s a great idea: drink Vodka with a side of childhood memories so we stay ’90s kids forever.
The Rugrats shot glasses are advertised as “unbreakable mini cups” and reportedly cost $5. They feature the pigtailed Angelica, her doll Cynthia and Reptar the dinosaur. One of the shot glasses even has the entire Rugrats gang.

Flager, who tells us she hasn’t tested out the Rugrats shot glasses yet, disclosed that she purchased them from Walmart’s Chelan, Washington location — and it’s unclear whether or not other stores sell them.
We couldn’t find the glasses on Walmart.com, though we did come across a $12 Rugrats Pint Glass you may want to purchase for your non-alcoholic beverages.
In the meantime, we’ve found similar gems you can buy online (because drinking like ’90s kids is better than drinking like adults).
Rugrats shot glasses for ’90s kids: A very important purchase
You can buy a 4-pack of Rugrats shot glasses from Hot Topic for $16.90.
“Gotta wash those cookies down with some milk, right?” the description reads. “This set of four shot glasses features all of your favorite kiddos from Nickelodeon’s Rugrats.”
You can purchase this same set from Amazon as well.
Spencer’s sells a 1.5 ounce shot glass for $5.99 that features Nickelodeon characters ’90s kids know and love — including the Rugrats tots. The store sells a purple-rimmed shot glass of the same size that showcases Angela, Tommy and friends, too. This one is also $5.99.
Additional Rugrats shot glasses are being auctioned off on eBay.
Would you purchase these for your next Nickelodeon-themed party? Or, for any night you want to break out the booze?
If you do, promise us this: When your friends ask for another round of shots, have them sing on-key, “Hit me baby one more time.”
