While New York Yankees star Aaron Judge is basically waiting for his American League Rookie of the Year Award, he received a different kind of honor on Monday afternoon.
The 6-foot-7 star was named the cover athlete of MLB The Show 18, the leading baseball video game across major systems like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Max Wildstein of Hardball Scoop caught a glimpse of what the cover will look like:

Judge had one of the best rookie seasons in MLB history, hitting .284 with a league-record 52 home runs to go with 114 RBI.
He helped lead the Yankees to the ALCS where they came within one game of the World Series before bowing out to the eventual-champion Houston Astros.
The 25-year-old is known for his moonshots that seem to defy logic and physics, so we could only imagine just how monstrous he’ll be in virtual reality.
