Accused groper on 1 train is disliked youth hockey referee: Report

A Bronx man accused of groping women during two separate incidents in September is a referee “no one likes” in a youth ice hockey league at Chelsea Piers, sources told the New York Post.

Ken Jacobson, 44, was charged Monday with multiple counts of forcible touching, harassment and sexual abuse for allegedly rubbing the thigh of a 24-year-old woman on Sept. 19 on a 1 train near 66th Street. On Sept. 21, police say he did the same thing to an 18-year-old woman near the Times Square station.

The latter victim was able to take a photo of Jacobson before he exited the train, and upon reporting the incident, her twin sister told investigators the same man had also touched her when she was 13, sometime between 2011 and 2012.

In addition to the above charges, Jacobson was also charged Tuesday at Manhattan Criminal Court with endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond.

There was no information as to whether Jacobson has obtained a lawyer who could comment on the charges on his behalf.
