Angelina Jolie is running out of skin to tattoo

Angelina Jolie has apparently been doing more than just directing a new film while she’s been in Cambodia all winter. She’s apparently also been filling in some valuable real estate on her skin.

The actress and director was spotted advising crew in and around the Angkor Wat Temple complex recently sporting three distinct new tattoos on her back, none of which were seen during her red carpet appearances before the holidays, according to Woman’s Day. The new tattoos include two ancient Thai Buddhist symbols and mantras, which are thought to help provide protection, and a Yant known as “Paech chaluaek,” a symbol of good deeds.

Jolie is believed to have gotten the new work done while on a break from filming in Bangkok, visiting artist Ajarn Noo Kanpai, with whom she has worked previously. By the looks of things, she doesn’t have much back left to work with.
