Anthony Mackie backs Trump

Oh, Anthony Mackie. Just … why? The “Captain America: Winter Soldier” star is out promoting his new film, “Our Brand is Crisis,” in which he plays a political spin doctor, so naturally he’s getting questions about which presidential candidate he’d most like to work with — and his answer is not so good: “I would 100 percent want to run Trump’s campaign. 100 percent,” he tells BET.

“I mean, first that’ll be the best party ever when he won, and second, Trump’s an easy sell. When you look at Trump, he’s an easy sell because you can sell him as the guy who worked his way up from nothing. And I think if you’re a ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ candidate, people would identify with that.”

Which would be fine and all if Trump had actually worked his way up from nothing, but oh well.
