Axl Rose settles lawsuit with roadie

Legendary Guns N’ Roses frontman, Axl Rose, has finally settled a lawsuit brought against him by his longtime roadie, Chris Pitman. TMZ reported that Pitman — whowas an engineer for the band during their up-and-coming years​ — accepted a promissory note from Rose, who claimed to be facing financial hardships in 2011, for $125,000 to be paid by 2012.

Four years after the deadline came and went, without a word or a penny from his former employer, Pitman filed a lawsuit for $163,000 — the amount owed plus interest. He chose the right time, too. Guns N’ Roses has reportedly already grossed over $110 million for their ongoing reunion tour. TMZ is now reporting that Axl has settled the suit for an undisclosed amount.
