Ever wish your beer tasted more like Phish Food or Chubby Hubby?
You’re in luck – famed ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s is teaming up with beer brand New Belgium to create a Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale.
The decadent six-packs will hit stores in the fall, and will contain chocolate, caramel and vanilla notes.
“We’re big fans of New Belgium Brewery, their values, and their fun culture and, of course, their beer,” Ben & Jerry’s senior global marketing manager Jay Curley said in a statement. “We’re excited for the campaign we’ve developed together. When two B Corps collaborate, our fans can expect something both delicious and impactful.” The term “B Corps” refers to Beneficial Corporations and it means the companiesare “held to performance standards that are comprehensive and transparent, measuring a company’s impact on workers, suppliers, communities and the environment,” according to the statement. New Belgium Director of Sustainability, Jenn Vervier, said about the project: “At this time I can confirm that Ben & Jerry’s and New Belgium are collaborating to raise awareness around issues we are passionate about, and that the results will be delicious.”
