Ryan Reynolds is a 40-year-old Canadian, most famous for starring in films like “Deadpool,” and embarrassingly, “National Lampoon’s Van Wilder.” He is a jokey dude who is married to Blake Lively, who played herself in “Gossip Girl” for many years.
Reynolds likes to make jokes, especially on his Twitter. But Lively, 29, would like to make it clear that when he writes that he’s dropping off his 10-month old at Burning Man, he’s making a joke. Because I guess she thinks we’re all intensely dense, or whatever. Thanks, Blake!
“He may as well work for the Enquirer,” Lively told Glamour. “When he says ‘my daughter,’ he’s never, ever talking about her. Everything is a completely made-up scenario.” You don’t say!
“The Shallows” star would also like to make clear that her life isn’t perfect or anything. “I’m so in love with him when he writes that stuff. I mean, I’m in love with him most of the time, but especially with that,” she says.
“I said, ‘Most of the time,’ because if I say, ‘I’m so in love with him all the time,’ then you get that eye-rolling, ‘Oh, her life is so great, she’s so perfect.’ So it’s, like, my defense mechanism,” the actress continued. OK, sure!
This is all very Serena Van der Woodsen of her. That Blake Lively — she sure is never out of character.
