Boston Marathon bombing survivor and professional dancer Adrianne Haslet-Davis claimed American Airlines lost her luggage, which contained prosthetic leg parts, but the airline now says her luggage has been found after she took to social media. Haslet-Davis lost her lower left leg in the April 2013 attacks, the Boston Globe reported, adding that she regained her ability to dance in March 2014 because MIT Media Lab designed a prosthetic leg for her to wear. RELATED:‘I thought … I was dead’: Dancer maimed in Boston bombing That leg was packed with dancing equipment totaling $250,000 in her luggage that American Airlines lost during a recent trip, CBS Boston reported, adding that Haslet-Davis took to Twitter to air her misfortune, which attracted a response from the airline.

American Airlines replied to the tweet, telling Haslet-Davis to direct a message to its Twitter account with the bag files reference number, the Globe reported.
“We’re terribly sorry we lost this bag and we’re workingdirectly with the customer to get it back to her just as soon as possible,” an American Airlines spokesman was quoted by CBS Boston, which added that by Friday morning, the airline told Haslet-Davis that the missing luggage had been located. Haslet-Davis could not be reached for comment, the Globe stated.
