Britney Spears doesn’t remember ever meeting Taylor Swift

During an Australian radio interview on Monday, Britney Spears was asked who she’d rather sit next to on a 24-hour flight to Sydney — Taylor Swift or Katy Perry. The “…Baby One More Time” singer confessed she already met Katy Perry but since she hadn’t met Swift before, she’d choose her as her travel buddy.

It turns out, however, that Spears HAS met Swift before — twice! The first time was pre-fame Taylor and the second time was at the VMAs in 2008, when Britney was nominated for her song, “Piece of Me.” There are even photos to prove it!

Looks like Tay Tay didn’t make much of an impression on Spears for her to completely forget meeting the pop star. This time Swift must really feel “invisible.”
