Apple is finally taking a bite out of Brooklyn.
Williamsburg residents will soon enjoy a new Apple store that is slated to open next weekend.
On Saturday, July 30, at 10 a.m., Brooklyn residents can head to 247 Bedford Ave. for the grand opening, the company announced on its website. RELATED:Apple’s encryption battle with feds still alive in Brooklyn The neighborhood has already seen changes coming to its retail landscape adjacent to the opening Apple store, with a Whole Foods Market opening across the street near a planned Citibank and Equinox, Brownstoner reported. On the same block, Levi’s and co-working space WeWork have already opened.

The new Apple store will be Brooklyn’s first, joining the six others in Manhattan and one each in Queens and Staten Island, according toApple Insider. The borough’s second Apple store is already rumored to be planned for the corner of Atlantic and Flatbush avenues near the Barclays Center, Brownstoner added.
