A Cambridge police officer has been placed on administrative leave in connection to a hit-and-run crash that occurred this weekend, according to published reports.
On Feb. 21 at about 7:49 a 32-year-old bicyclist was struck at the intersection of Broadway and Portland streets, WCVB ABC reported. The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The Cambridge Police Department, the Middlesex District Attorney’s office and Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash and will determine if the officer will face charges, Boston.com reported. During the investigation, WCVB ABC said, the officer has been place on paid leave.
