Get ready to party like it’s 1984 at a “Stranger Things”-themed bash in Cambridge this weekend.
Once you’re done binge-watching the new season on Netflix, head over to the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel on Friday night for a special, ‘80s-style Halloween party. Dubbed a “Stranger Evening,” the event will transform the hotel’s outdoor courtyard into the ultimate party space for “Stranger Things” fans.
Get your groove on with Boston DJ and former “Bachelorette” contestant Kupah James, who’s bringing all of your favorite ‘80s jams to the dance floor. In addition to the beats, the party will include plenty of food and drink specials featuring a “Stranger Things” twist.
Attendees can expect a bunch of delicious tributes to the series’ fan-favorite characters, including Benny’s breathtaking burgers and fries, Dustin’s decadent chocolate pudding, plus a wall of Eggo waffles in honor of Eleven. Don’t forget to take a trip to the Upside Down with the party’s “other-worldly” dessert.
Channel your inner Hopper and wash down the meal with a selection of beers and Wild Thing cider from Artifact Cider Project. The drink menu will also include a Demogorgon cocktail made with Ghost Tequila, plus a special wine and waffle pairing.
All ticket holders can attend the dance party portion of the event, while general admission and VIP ticket holders will also receive two beverage tickets, as well as the chance to munch on ‘80s-themed food. Attendees who do opt for the VIP treatment will have access to a private bar with special after-hours, complimentary parking, plus they’ll take home a custom-themed trucker hat.
