Long-time New York Knicks star and Baltimore native Carmelo Anthony voiced his opinion about the recent protests and riots happening in Baltimore, Maryland.
In a recent post to Instagram, Anthony urges protesters to “build up our city and not tear it down. “ He sends his deepest sympathies to the Gray family but encourages protesters to think about the youth and how rioting and destroying the city will affect the community
“To see my city in a State of Emergency is just shocking. We need to protect our city, not destroy it,” Anthony writes in the Instagram post.
