Movember, an annual event that started in 2003, uses the facial hair for a good cause by raising awareness of men’s health issues, including prostate cancer. Each November, men are encouraged to grow a mustache to change the face of men’s health.

Since its beginning, the Movember Foundation has raised more than $710 million and helped fund 1,200 breakthrough men’s health programs in 21 countries.
