Channing, 37, shared the story on an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” admitting little Everly could barely get past the first ten minutes. Poor Channing thought Everly gave a hoot about watching her parents falling in love — but she definitely did not. Atta girl!
“We were like, ‘This is really cool! It’s got dancing. She’s going to love it!’” Channing shared. “Within 10 seconds, she was like, ‘Can I watch a real movie? I don’t know, like a good one?’” Sick burn, Everly!
“What do you mean? This is a real movie! It’s such a real movie they made like, seven more of these! You will watch it!,” Channing said. “And then ten more seconds went by and she was like ‘Please can I watch a real movie?’” I love this girl already.
To be fair, Everly does appear to love dancing. She’s just choosy about the kind of dancing she’ll acquiesce to watching. “She was there for ‘Magic Mike,’ a lot of it, and now her dancing is showing that she’s seen a lot of that, when she’s around the house. I’m like, I didn’t teach her that!” LOL, that’s a pretty good anecdote, Chan.
So, we can all agree then. Everly Tatum for president, yeah?
