Out of 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts a select group have been rated the hottest in 2015, according to a recent real estate report.
Lamacchia Realty, which serves Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, released its report showing the top 25 towns and cities for the state based on increases in the number of homes sold for all of 2015 compared to 2014.

The sales include single and multi-family homes and condominiums and for a city or town to be considered for the list it must have had a minimum of 200 home sales.
According to Lamacchia, the list shows the growth of the Masssachusetts housing market for 2015 — the biggest year for home sales in nine years.
Here is the list of the 25 most popular cities and towns and their percentage increase in sales and median price for a home:
