Gavin Rossdale may be on the outs with soon-to-be ex-wife Gwen Stefani, but at least one former flame is eager to hear from him: Peter Robinson, otherwise known as cross-dressing pop star Marilyn, who claims he and Rossdale dated in the 1980s. “He was the love of my life. I’m f—ing proud of that,” Robinson tells Radar Online. “I want to say I would take him back in a heartbeat, but the reality goes, ‘What is going on with you?’ I’ve been celibate for 25 years. The next person I engage with I want to be adored and loved and not ashamed about who I am. I don’t think we’ll ever be friends and that upsets me because I really love him.” RELATED:Who’s next in the 2015 Celebrity Summer Divorce-athon? Robinson, though, doesn’t have such nice things to say about Stefani, whom he claims was a large part of why Rossdalehas kept his distance. The Bush singer initially denied the relationship had ever happened before confirming his past interactions with Robinson during a 2010 interview.“All of this pretending it didn’t happen and keeping it a secret, that’s really old,” Robinson says.“She didn’t want to know or acknowledge certain things about him. She wanted to edit his past and he wanted to as well.”
