Controversial chicken sandwich chain Chick-Fil-A is looking to spread its wings and open a third location in New York City.
Sources have told the New York Post that the eatery is “in talks” to open its third Manhattan restaurant at One Madison. It will be a prime location for the fast food joint, as the address is home to a luxury condo tower on East 23rd Street, according to the Post, where Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen own an apartment. When the publication reached out to its owner, Abe Feldman of Rockfeld Group, he “declined to say whether a lease was pending.” Chick-Fil-A rep Carrie Kurlander said, “We have nothing to confirm regarding this site.”
In February, Chick-Fil-A did confirm the opening date of its second location, at West 46th Street and Sixth Avenue near Rockefeller Center, this Saturday.
That restaurant will join the city’s first location at 37th Street and Sixth Avenue, which opened in October 2015. The new place will aim to serve a high volume of customers and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Saturday.
