Claire Danes dishes on Billy Crudup and Mary-Louise Parker

Hey, remember back when Billy Crudup left his girlfriend of eight years, Mary-Louise Parker, when she was seven months pregnant to get together with Clair Danes? Sure, it was 12 years ago now, but you remember, right? Well, Danes is finally ready to talk about it, opening up to Howard Stern about dealing with the harsh, judgmental public once her four-year relationship with Crudup got underway.

“That was a scary thing. That was really hard. I didn’t know how to not do that,” she tells Stern. “I was just in love with him and needed to explore that and I was 24. … I didn’t quite know what those consequences would be. But it’s OK. I went through it.”

Sure. But so did Parker. How’s she doing? We’ll soon find out, as she has a memoir, “Dear Mr. You,” due out next month comprised of a series of letters she’s written to the men in her life. This should be good.
