The nice, hard-working “real Americans” in the ad just want a leader who tells it like it is, who’s good at business and isn’t part of the Washington establishment. But when the camera pulls back a bit on each one, there’s something else about them and their support for Trump they’re not saying. It would all be such an effective take-down if “SNL” hadn’t had Trump himself on as host barely three months ago. That’s awkward.
