Dairy Queen is bringing back its Pumpkin Pie Blizzard this fall, and if you fancy pumpkin pie or pumpkin-flavored treats, then you should be excited about this one.
Just as Starbucks prepares each year to release its beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte beverage, Dairy Queen is also getting ready to release its version of the classic fall treat, the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard.
What’s in the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard
According to Dairy Queen, the Pumpkin ie Blizzard is made with small bits of pumpkin pie mixed in with Dairy Queen’s classic soft-serve ice cream. The frosty dessert come topped with whipped cream and nutmeg, to give it that fall flavor you crave.
Like the other Dairy Queen Blizzard treats, the soft serve treat will be available in four sizes: mini, small, medium and large and is served upside down like the rest of their Blizzard treats.
Dairy Queen is known for its outrageous, limited-run Blizzard treats and according to the website, the soft serve ice cream chain is offering several other creative Blizzards, including s’mores, cotton candy and a Reese’s Blizzard, which happens to be the “Blizzard of the Month” for August.
So, when does the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard come out?
If you’re a sucker for pumpkin pie and Dairy Queen Blizzards, the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard is coming back this fall for a limited time on September 3 at participating Dairy Queen locations. There’s no word yet on how long Dairy Queen will carry the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, but if you’re a fan of the frosty sweet treat and a bigger fan of all things pumpkin then you should mark your calendar for this one and find your nearest Dairy Queen location.
It seems that Dairy Queen wants to cash in on the seasonal pumpkin craze, as it is releasing its Pumpkin Pie Blizzard approximately a week after Starbucks drops its Pumpkin Spice Latte.
