Dee Milliner, apparently, can’t catch a break.
On the same day that the New York Jets waived safety Antonio Allen, who injured his Achilles on Thursday, the team announced several hours later in the early afternoon that cornerback Dee Milliner will be out six-to-eight weeks with a wrist injury. Like Allen, Milliner suffered the injury on Thursday in training camp. CB Dee Milliner injured his wrist in practice yesterday. Scheduled to undergo surgery, expected to miss 6-8 weeks- http://t.co/uL8ZQmNCHO“>

Milliner came to the Jets in 2013 as a first round pick but missed chunks of offseason workouts with shoulder surgery for an injury suffered in college. Then last year, Milliner again was injured, missing a good chunk of 2014 with an Achilles injury.
He had just returned to practice this week and had looked overall solid in training camp.
The silver lining for the Jets is that they are relatively deep at cornerback, with Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Buster Skrine the top three on the depth chart right now. There is also Marcus Williams and Darrin Walls, both of whom had significant reps last season at cornerback.
