The latest party held for Demi Lovato was on Twitter, and it was called the#DemiLovatoIsOverParty.
The “Cool for the Summer” singer faced backlash over the weekend because of a Snapchat video she posted to — and subsequently deleted from — her account. In it,the 23-year-old pop star is heard laughing after her mother, Dianna Hart, made a joke about the Olympics taking place in Rio De Janeiro.”Everybody down in Rio gonna get the Zika virus,” Hart says in the video. The singer then deleted the video and took to Twitter to issue an apology. “In no way did I mean to offend anyone last night. I was laughing at how southern my mom sounded, not the issue at hand. Deepest apologies,” she tweeted on Saturday.

Lovato could have stopped there — instead, she immediately posted a second and third tweet brushing off her haters.”If you watch everything I do, you’re still a fan.. I ain’t goin nowhere b*tches,” she wrote in one tweet. “It’s an awesome feeling when you’re so content with life and yourself that hate doesn’t effect [sic] you.. Feelin’ good y’all,” she wrote in another. One thing is for sure: Lovato is certainly quite “confident” in herself.
