Janet Jackson — forever kween — split from her husband of five years, Wissam Al Mana, in April. And now, her older brother Randy Jackson is claiming that Janet suffered “verbal abuse” and felt like “a prisoner in her own home” during the marriage. Oh, hell no.
“There’s a lot of pain,” Randy told People. “Janet’s been through alot with her divorce. I’ve been through a lot, we all have.”
He continued, saying that Janet and Al Mana’s situation was an abusive one. “It came on later in the relationship. … No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a bitch everyday. There were things like that. That’s what she went through.”
Attorneys for Al Mana released a statement in response, saying “Mr. Al Mana is not going to dignify these particular and deeply hurtful allegations with a response.” Mmkay.
“It’s not about anger or vengeance,” Randy continued. “We don’t like to put our business out there but sometimes transparency helps you.” Preach it, my dude.
