With summer comes frozen treats, and of course if it’s sweet, Dominique Ansel Kitchen is on it.
This Friday, the Cronut creator’s new cafe/dessert restaurant at 137 Seventh Ave. S. is opening a soft-serve window. On the compact menu is just two flavors ($7 with a housemade cone): burrata with balsamic caramel (with a whole confit strawberry inside, because Dominique Ansel) and gianduja with salted hazelnut brittle, orange mist and sea salt.
The window will be open from Friday through Sunday, noon-9 p.m. through the end of September.
