President Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. responded to the recent shooting at YouTube headquarters by defending the National Rifle Association (NRA) and bashing liberals.
Nasim Aghdam, 39, allegedly shot and wounded four people at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California before killing herself.
The Iranian-born animal rights activist and YouTube content creator’s social media accounts were removed shortly after the shooting incident.
Trump Jr. took to Twitter early Wednesday morning to share his thoughts about how things would be different if the YouTube shooter was a member of the NRA.
“You think there’s any chance whatsoever that a mass shooters hateful Instagram and YouTube channels would be pulled immediately if they were NRA members as opposed to liberal Vegan PETA activists,” he wrote in the tweet. “Asking for a few million friends in the @NRA,” he added.”

While it isn’t clear if Aghdam was a member of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) organization, Aghdam’s personal website suggests she was an animal rights activist. According to the Associated Press and The San Diego Union-Tribune, reported that she participated in animal rights protests as early as 2009.
Before posting the tweet, Trump responded to a Twitter user who suggested that people will try to blame the YouTube shooting on “right-wing gun nuts.” Trump replied, “They will find a way. Just wait.”
Trump Jr. also made a sarcastic remark aimed at the media about how they plan to cover the YouTube shooting.
“I look forward to the whole PETA has more mass shooters than the NRA conversations. I’m sure they will cover that… right?” Donald Trump Jr, wrote in a tweet.
Following the mass shooting that took place at a high school in Parkland, Florida, that left 17 people dead, there has been serious debate and protests surrounding the NRA and gun regulation.
Trump Jr. insinuates that major media outlets will cover the YouTube headquarters shooting differently because of her affiliation with PETA.
