The price of protestingis not right for the son of Drew Carey.
A boy who admitted, on-camera, to lighting a fire outside then President-elect Donald Trump’s “Deploraball” during a protest last week has been identified as Carey’s 11-year-old son, a source told TMZ. The “Price is Right” host was spotted by TMZ at the anti-Trump rally the night before the inauguration after dining nearby with his son, “who wanted to see it,” Carey told a cameraman from the outlet. It wasn’t until later that Carey realized that Connor not only saw the rally, but got heavily involved as well.
Speaking to a Fox News reporter that night, Connor said that he “actually kinda started this fire.” When asked why, the boy replied, “Because I felt like it … and I’m just saying screw our president!” The source told TMZ that Connor’s parents were not happy after seeing the footage of their son and gave him a talking to about his language. After his scolding, Connor “regretted his choice of words,” the source said.
