The 2018 Grammy Awards took place last night in New York City. Musicians and singers gathered at Madison Square Garden to celebrate music’s biggest night.
Late-night television host and funnyman James Corden returned to host the Grammys this year.
Several celebrities carried or wore white roses in solidarity and to honor the TIME’S UP movement.
Kendrick Lamar, kicked off the night with a dynamic and politically charged performance that instantly grabbed the audience’s attention. He later took home five Grammy Awards including one for Best Rap Album.
Legendary Irish rock band U2 performed “Get Out Of Your Own Way” on a barge in the New York Harbor with the Statue of Liberty in the background.
Bruno Mars brought back the 1990s when he came out to perform his hit song “Finesse” featuring break out star Cardi B, who was nominated for two Grammys this year.
The “24K Magic” artist won big this year with a total of six Grammys including album of the year and record of the year for “24K Magic” and took home Grammys for song of the year, best R&B performance and best R&B song for “That’s What I Like.”
