Chris Brown is not known for his luck with the legal system, but the stringof events following his August 30 arrest for allegedly pulling a gun on a woman in his Los Angeles home might prove otherwise.According to sources, the D.A. is still not satisfied with the evidence assembled by police after they received a two-week extensionto file the case. Not only is the D.A. suspicious of Baylee Curran, Brown’s alleged victim, who used drugs and alcohol during the party and made heavy media roundsimmediately following the incident (victim blaming much?), they are struggling to link the weapons found on the scene to the R&B bad boy. At this point, the case is most likely going to go cold, which is sure to come as a relief to Brown, who seems to attracttrouble like a moth to a flame since infamously attacking then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Brown’s legal team deserves a bonus and some vacation time because it can’t be easy helping him avoid accountability for literallyeverything.
