You’ve watched Haley, Alex, Manny, Luke and Lilly (and Joe) grow up, but are you ready to say goodbye? That’s the big question you should be asking yourselves headed into Modern Family season 10. Even though the co-creators have been vague about the potential for the show to continue, all signs point to 10 being the final bow for all three families. Sp what can you expect as we head into the first episode? Here’s everything we know right now.
What to expect from Modern Family season 10
Even though the co-creators have been talking a lot about how this is most likely the end of the line for the TV families, we don’t have many details yet. Showrunners Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd hinted that the ending of Modern Family might end up similar to how Frasier wrapped when they talked to The Hollywood Reporter back in January.
“We went through these questions on Frasier, when we brought that around after 11 seasons and sort of said, ‘Well, the Shakespearean route on that is a birth, a death or a wedding,’” Lloyd explained. “We managed to effectively do all three in the final episode, so it may be some conversation that starts there. We’ve got time to think about that.”
If anyone says anything else that reveals something, Metro will update this article. For now, cast members like Julie Bowen and Eric Stonestreet are only talking about what it’s like to be on-set with everyone, knowing this is probably the final lap. (Translation: There’s a lot of emotion on-set right now.)
