After a successful debut last fall, the ATK Boston EATS Festival is back with another mouth-watering lineup this weekend. The three-day fest will feature appearances and demonstrations by your favorite America’s Test Kitchen stars, tasty bites from some of the region’s top chefs and restaurants, plus plenty of partying in celebration of Cook’s Illustrated Magazine’s 25th annivesary. Here’s everything you need to know about ATK Boston EATS Festival 2018.
When is ATK Boston EATS Festival 2018?
This year’s ATK Boston EATS Festival will take over the Boston Seaport’s Innovation and Design Building, which is also home to the ATK studios and headquarters, at 21 Dry Dock Ave. on Sept. 14 through 16.
The fest will kick off on Friday with a ’90s-themed bash to celebrate 25 years of Cook’s Illustrated Magazine. Guests will get a chance to party with ATK stars, feast on birthday cake and unlimited food samples from Boston’s top chefs, as well as sip on birthday-themed cocktails and dance along to ’90s jams.
Saturday’s programming will be focused on the Boston EATS Cooking, Food & Wine festival portion of the festivities, which means a ton of delicious offerings from New England’s best chefs and restuarants. The fest will also have cooking demonstrations, panels and book signings with ATK talent such as Bridget Lancaster, Julia Collin Davison, Cook’s Illustrated editor in chief Dan Souza and more.
The ATK Boston EATS Festival will conclude on Sunday with the ATK Kids Fest, a new addition geared towards the younger foodies out there. The day will include cooking and science demosntrations, food experiments, tasting stations and other fun activities that are perfect for the little ones.
