Fan loses tooth in quest to walk in Tom Brady’s old Uggs

A scavenger hunt around Boston for Tom Brady’s used — and smelly — Uggs ended with one fan losing a tooth.

On Thursday, the New England Patriots quarterback announced that he hid three pairs of signed Uggsslippers somewhere in the city.The slippers were actually worn by Brady, which prompted fan Karen Mireles to ask if they smelled.

“Oh yeah!” Brady replied.

In his quest to wear Brady’s smelly old slippers, Luke Barosky “sprinted like the wind” around Dorchester Heights, he said in a Facebook post, but he ended up not getting into the scavenger hunt’s end zone.

“Fell like the stone. End result: 1 missing tooth. 2 cuts. 0 ugg (sic) slippers signed by Tom Brady,” Barosky wrote with a photo showing his bloody wounds. “So if anyone is up at Dorchester Heights. The slippers are gone but my tooth is still there.”

When Brady got wind of Barosky’s failed attempt, he threw the fan a Hail Mary, writing that he was sorry to hear about his tooth. He told Barosky to email him at uggs4toothlessluke@gmail.com with a “thumbs up picture of yourself” and he’d send him a pair of the Uggs “you worked so hard to get.”

At least Barosky can nurse his injuries with toasty toes.
