If you are in a fantasy football league with keepers, the time to act is now.

Actually, the time to act was during your fantasy draft. But unless you nabbed Ezekiel Elliott later on or Derek Henry in a mid-round, you were likely flying blind by taking flyers on players like Laquon Tredwell (who didn’t play in Week 1).

Now with a week of action under our belts, we have new information. And there’s no reason not to take a stab at nailing a player who could be a top 20 pick next year — and keep him in the 16th round (depending on how your league is structured it could be the 15th or 14th for a free agent).

If you have room on your roster, pick up one of these four players:

Carson Wentz, Eagles

Wentz had one of the best rookie quarterback debuts in history, going for two touchdowns and no turnovers and compiling 278 passing yards against the Browns. Sure, it’s one game, and it’s the Browns. But the Eagles’ receivers showed they are serviceableand are allvery young (Jordan Matthews and Nelson Agholor had big games and are under 24). Wentz could wind up being a franchise quarterback for the Eagles and a perennialfantasy draft quarterback. Pounce early.

Will Fuller, Texans

Fuller seems to be the No. 2 receiver in Houston, alongside DeAndre Hopkins, but in their opener against the Bears the rookie wideout had the game-winning touchdown catch — while leading the team in receiving with 107 yards. He received 10 targets despite catching only five passes. In a pass-happy offense led by Bill O’Brien and highly-paid signal caller Brock Osweiler looking to launch the ball, Fullercould become a 1,000 yard receiver in the not-too-distant future.

Sterling Shepard, Giants

Another pass-happy team, the Giants have a plethoraof weapons with Odell Beckham Jr. and a healthy Victor Cruz now catching Eli Manning’s tosses. That being said, rookie Sterling Shepard had a touchdown grab in New York’swin over Dallas Sunday afternoon and is a solid No. 3 on a team that will go to the air early and often. His value could be high in a three WR league next year.
