Fashion Week: Zac Posen 2015

Posen’s disparate muses for fall included Grace Kelly and Chaka Khan — and, you know, his collection actually did capture something of Kelly’s timeless elegance and Khan’s fabulous fierceness. See: a plum jersey day dress with a swingy ballet skirt that would make any gal sashay, the fur chubbies done in rich emerald and saffron, the exquisitely draped jersey dresses that evoked the glamour of both 1930s Hollywood and 1970s disco. The one misstep: the OTT glittery bustier ballgown that closed the show, though since it was worn by Naomi Campbell, no one seemed to mind.
