Hey Hollywood, Johnny Depp isn’t a great investment. At least that’s what Forbes is trying to everyone with its annual list of the most overpaid actors in Tinsel Town. Depp has earned the dubious honor of a spot on that list for the second year in a row, alongside the likes of Denzel Washington and Will Ferrell. But this year, Depp has moved from No. 2 up to No. 1 on the list, unseating reigning champ Adam Sandler.That’s got to hurt. In fact, Forbes estimates that for every dollar Depp is paid, the studio behind the film earns back, on average, $1.20. That’s not the kind of return on investment you want from one of the world’s most famous oddballs.
