Guess who didn’t go to Isabella Cruise’s surprise wedding

Now, before you freak out and start worrying that little Suri is all growed up and getting hitched, remember that Tom Cruise has another daughter — Isabella Cruise, his adopted daughter with ex-wife Nicole Kidman. And Isabella reportedly got hitched in a very small, very private ceremony in London last month to British IT consultant Max Parker, according to Women’s Day. How small and private, you might ask? So small and private that dad Tom and brother Connor were not in attendance. Yikes.

It’s unclear why the father of the bride sat this one out, but sources speculate it’s to do with Isabella’s disdain for public attention and concern over the attention Tom’s presence would attract. Also, Parker is apparently not a member of Church of Scientology and has reportedly never met Tom. But I’m sure he’s at least heard of him.

The mother of the bride, meanwhile, is said to be “overjoyed” by the nuptials, despite the fact that there are apparently no photos of her at the event either. Maybe she was in some sort of elaborate disguise, who knows.
