A Burger King in Queens pulled a bit of a prank last Sundayby disguising itself as a McDonald’s for a few hours.
While theRego Park location stayed in its ghost of McDonald’scostume, the sign in front of the eatery read: “Boooooo. Just kidding, we still flame grill our burgers. Happy Halloween.” Some reports suggested a commercial in the making, but when Metro contacted Burger King’s main office, we were given the photos (above) and the video (below), but a spokewoman told us “this is all the information we can provide.” Mysterious!
The internet was torn on whether this was a mean trick or a flame-broiledtreat.
