Here’s a look at America’s porn habits: When they’re doing it and who’s doing it when
PornHub totally knows what you’re doing late at night — and is even keeping a log of it.
The website knows so much that it even released a study explaining America’s porn-watching habits: when they’re doing it, and who is doing it when.
Across the board the highest rate of traffic to PornHub was between 10:00 p.m. and midnight right before we go to sleep. The lowest rates were between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
What was more interesting though, as PornHub points out was that “On Friday, traffic before work goes up around 6am, just like other weekdays. However, we see that Friday night traffic is 20% below the weekly average by 10pm when people are heading out for some real-life fun.”
Don’t get too excited though, because apparently a lot of us aren’t getting that “real-life fun” PornHub alluded to.
“When they arrive home around 2am to 3am, they’re still looking for some late night entertainment, so they tune into Pornhub 10% more than the rest of the week,” PornHub wrote in its blog post.
What it boils down to is that people tend to not watch porn when they have the hope or expectation of real late-night adult slumber party teamwork with another human. This however tends to not happen. Instead we are left alone with nothing but the light of our computer screens to illuminate our disappointed faces, souls and right hands.
