New York City is many things, the financial capital of the world, a haven for a multitude of cultures, and on top of that it’s just a very old city. With this age comes a landscape sprinkled with designated historic landmarks, and now an interactive map has been released to help you find all of them. “The interactive map, called Discover NYC Landmarks, has points for every single designated landmark in the city, whether it’s an individual building, interiors, a historic district, or a scenic landmark; the map also includes items that are calendared for consideration by the LPC,” Curbed New York explained. It’s a fun experiment to take the time and see what secret historic landmarks could be lurking in your neighborhood. So just take a look at the map! Matt Lee is a web producer for Metro New York.
