There’s never a wrong time for a burrito bowl. It’s only a question of availability. It doesn’t matter if you have a big celebratory barbecue to get to over the weekend. To steal an idea from Taco Bell, there’s always room for fourth meal. But is it even an option to dig into a bowl overflowing with barbacoa? Is Chipotle open on Labor Day? Here’s what you need to know about the beloved chain’s holiday hours.
Even though burritos, and their low-cab variations, are delicious year-round, summer’s their peak season. That means this weekend, which marks the end of the season you wait all year for, is technically the end of their hayday for 2018. It would be wrong not to celebrate that with a hefty serving of carnitas and double guac. (We know you’ll pay extra, but c’mon, it’s a holiday. Live a little.) Don’t you agree?
We haven’t even mentioned the queso. They rolled that one out to every Chipotle location, although you might have missed signs for it. Add it to your list of things to try from the fan favorite. But is the chain even going to give you the chance on the upcoming holiday?
Is Chipotle open on Labor Day?
So, we know that most Chipotle locations are open between 10:45 am and 10 pm every day of the week, but they do close for select holidays, like the Fourth of July. So, is Chipotle open on Labor Day?
You better start planning out your epic order now, because the chain will have its doors open for normal hours this coming Monday, despite the holiday. Most locations should be open for their standard hours, but it can’t hurt to call ahead to your nearest location if you’re an early or late eater. You know, just in case the hours are shortened a little (or, heaven forbid, they run out of your favorite burrito filling).
And if the kids won’t eat it because of the spice, know where else you can turn. Chick-fil-A is a common choice, so make sure you’re up-to-date on their holiday hours, too.
