It’s true: Lauryn Hill is now a grandmother

Picture this: it’s 1998. Lauryn Hill’s debut solo album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” is changing your entire life. One of your favorite songs is “To Zion,” a beautiful and tender ode to Hill’s first child. Carlos Santana lends the track an understated lil’ twang. You sit in your bedroom, one tear falling down your face in slow motion, thinking, “Man, this song is really, really lovely.” Remember that?

Well just in case you want to feel super old, let me tell you something: Lauryn Hill, 41, is a grandmother now, because Zion — the subject of that wonderful song — just had a freaking baby.

JAH RASTAFARI MORNING ” In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. ” ZEPHANIAH ” ” Unto Us a Child is Born ” #LIONORDER ? @ziontrainmarley #FatherTime ?
