For over 50 years, Jackie Chan been impressing us with his complicated flips, stunts, and martial arts moves in his over 200 films! Such a robust career is certainly an accomplishment of its own. But on Saturday Chan received his most cherished acknowledgement of all: an Oscar. Jackie Chan was one of four actors who received a lifetime achievement award at the annual Governors Awards in Hollywood, E! News reports. Tom Hanks introduced the 62-year-old and made a toast in his honor. Chris Tucker, the co-star in Chan’s successful “Rush Hour” franchise, presented him with the award. In his acceptance speech Chan thanked his fans who motivate him to keep making films and “breaking [his] bones.” We’re glad his hard, and dangerous work paid off!
