James Corden is coming to Boston

James Corden plans to bring the laughs to Boston later this fall.

The “Late Late Show” host and mastermind behind the hit “Carpool Karaoke” series will be this year’s headliner for Northeastern University’s homecoming. The comedian and actor will take part in a chat moderated by actress and DJ Amanda Seales at Matthew Arena on Nov. 11.

Unfortunately, the event is only open to Northeastern students, faculty and alumni, so you might want to bother your closest Husky friend if you want to score seats to the event. Tickets will be available on the unversity’s website beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27.

As per tradition, Northeastern’s Council for University Programs revealed Corden’s headlining event via a humorous, student-made announcement video.

After learning a thing or two from Matt Damon, hopefully fans will get to see Corden dust off his Boston accent for the event.

Corden is the latest A-list star to score a homecoming headlining gig at Northeastern in recent years. Last year, Emmy winner and Massachusetts’ own Amy Poehler stopped by for a night with the Huskies.

Other notable past guests include comedian and actress Amy Schumer, “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey, “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon, comedian Russell Brand, Sarah Silverman and “Atlanta” star Donald Glover.
