A judge ruled Tuesday that the tatoos of convicted murderer and former New England PatriotAaron Hernandez can be used as evidence in his upcoming double murder trial, WBZ reported. Hernandez’s lawyers were trying to keep the tattoos out of the trial, in which he is charged with killing Daniel de Abreu, 29, and Safiro Furtado, 28, in a drive-by shooting outside a club inBoston’s South End in 2012. Prosecutors say twotattoos Hernandez got shortly after the slayings link him to the murders.
One tattoo depicts a revolver with a bullet missing out of the five-chamber gun. Thesecond tattoo reads, “God forgives.”
