Kickstarter is gearing up for their third annual film festival, giving movie fans across the country to watch some of the most promising films that need funding to really get out there. The Kickstarter film board watched literally thousands of films that were submitted, narrowing it down to the few they felt was most deserving of big-time attention. Related: 3 Kickstarter projects that could transform parenting The films range from an animated movie about a strange sandwich to a documentary about the first woman to box for the gold in the 2012 Olympics. All the films will be screened at 32 theaters across the country on October 15. The event is completely free, but since it’s going to be mega popular, you must RSVP.
